The Barstow Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for the Goldstone Deep Space Network on Monday at the historic Harvey House with representatives from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Goldstone, Barstow City Council and Chamber joining Miss Barstow and Miss Teen Barstow. Goldstone has extended its outreach program in Barstow after NASA's Science on a Sphere exhibit wrapped up in March after a five-month run.
