After a months-long, nationwide search for a successor to outgoing Barstow Community College Superintendent/President Dr. Deborah DiThomas, the board appointed former BCC instructor Dr. Eva Bagg Wednesday. The unanimous vote means Bagg, a current administrator for Long Beach City College, will take the reigns as the 17th president of BCC beginning July 1, just after DiThomas' four years comes to a close.
