A 24-year-old Lenwood man was arrested north of Barstow after a short pursuit Sunday, Aug. 6, in connection with possession of a rental truck and its contents that had been reported stolen, according to a San Bernardino County Sheriff's news release. Deputies and California Highway Patrol officers and the agencies' aviation units were dispatched at 11:42 a.m. to the area of Fossil Bed Road and Irwin Road to search for the truck.
