Mariachi Aguila Real's bright trumpet sounds filled the main room of the Desert Discovery Center, Saturday as the community came together to celebrate and learn about the National Old Spanish Trail that runs through Barstow. The Desert Discovery Center works in partnership with the Old Spanish Trail Association, City of Barstow and the Bureau of Land Management to put the free event on every year.
