Move over, Polar Express; there's a real-life, festive locomotive bringing cheer to children all over Southern California this holiday season, with special stops in the High Desert. Hundreds of local children excitedly boarded the Burlington Northern Santa Fe SoCal Express Train, widely known as the "Santa Claus Express," in Barstow early Monday morning for a magical ride along the rails through the desert.
