Police said three children walking home from school emerged with only minor injuries after the driver of a pickup truck lost control and collided with them on Wednesday afternoon. Reported just before 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Barstow Police Department officials said the three youngsters were sent to the local hospital for treatment after the crash, which occurred near Barstow Junior High School in the 1000 block of Armory Road.
