With Fourth of July just around the corner, city and fire officials are ramping up efforts on enforcing bans on fireworks while urging residents to take heed of potential hazards. Following a "recent increase in fireworks activity, including a fire that occurred on June 15," the city of Victorville created a task force dedicated to enforcing the city's ban on all fireworks.
